Advisors (Counselors)

Your advisor in the Advisement Center is knowledgeable, interested, and wants to help you graduate.  In an appointment, the advisor will verify your general education requirements, review major requirements, assist with registration questions, and help you set up a plan for graduation. If you would like to meet with an advisor, please come to the Advisement Center located in D-444 of the Harris Fine Arts Center or call us a  (801) 422-3777.

Information Clerks

 

We also have Information Clerks who are trained to assist you with general information about the majors, the admission process and other questions or concerns that may arise during the semester.  We have MAPs (Major Academic Plans) for the majors in our college, access to the Undergraduate Catalog, Class Schedule, add/drop cards and other university forms.  Our staff is friendly and willing to help you with answers to your questions or they can set up an appointment for you to met with an advisor.  Our office is located in D-444 of the Harris Fine Arts Center and our phone number is (801) 422-3777.  You may also email us at    advisement_secretary@byu.edu.   Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm except Tuesdays when we close for all university devotionals and forums from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm.  You are always welcome in the Advisement Center.  We are here to serve you.
