A Product of Time and Faith

In 1982 Professor Hagen Haltern assembled a select group of students to study in the newly created Intensive Drawing Studio. The students met with Haltern four days a week, nine hours a day. This intense creative environment provided the students an opportunity to foster creative thinking and cultivate creative collaboration.
Today, 27 years later, the College of Fine Arts and Communications is celebrating these artists' successes and sharing their work with the college community. The exhibit will be on display in the B. F. Larson Gallery until November 13.

Budding Composer

Senior composition student Lance Montgomery received second prize for his score "Fiore" at the Society for Electroacoustic Music in the United States' Student Commission Awards.
